Land Rover Series 2A Ragtop (2.3L)

We are delighted to offer this great British icon for sale.  Built in 1966 this Land Rover Series 2A Ragtop in mid grey with a sand canvas.  Recently restored by John Brown 4X4 the body was rebuilt onto a galvanised chassis with galvanised cappings, free wheeling hubs, parabolic springs and 750 tyres among a lot of other wonderful features.  The rear has been fitted with a load mat and bench seats to bring the seating up to six occupants (including the driver).  Also benefitting from a resprayed finish, new tyres, canvas and power steering it really does look and feel the part. 

This is a superb example of the 1966 farmer hero, designed to withstand anything that could be thrown at it, as the rebuild was professional and considered, and overall to a great standard.
